About the Treatment
Both the Permea® and Clear & Brilliant® treatment are classified as non-ablative fractional laser technology. This technology is utilized to rejuvenate skin tone and improve the skin’s texture by blurring enlarged pores and acne scars. This treatment is suitable for all skin types.
How Does the Clear & Brilliant® Treatment Works?
Using a fractional laser, Permea® and Clear & Brilliant® treat various skin problems like wrinkles, fine lines, acne scars, and hyperpigmentation by targeting a predetermined part of the skin. These lasers delicately create micro perforations in the dermis to trigger the skin’s self-healing properties. New skin cells are created from this treatment, resulting in a beautiful glow and refreshed appearance. This treatment is an affordable and safe option approved by Health Canada to improve the skin’s appearance in comparison to other ablative lasers.

Before your treatment, remove any make-up or arrive completely make-up free. For men, ensure that your last shave was the day before the treatment. 1 to 2 weeks before your appointment, make sure to discontinue the use of retinoids and glycolic agents.
What to Expect
Duration
Depending on where you are being treated, each session is approximately 30 minutes to an hour.
Recommended Sessions
For best results, we recommend 6 treatments at an interval of 3 to 4 weeks in between each session.
After Treatment Care
No recovery time. Avoid touching your skin or scratching your skin after the healing process. Gently wipe your face and avoid abrasive cloths like a washcloth or hand towel. Limit engaging in strenuous cardiovascular activity and avoid high heat (i.e. baths, spas, saunas, swimming pools). Avoid products that cause irritation (perfumes, self-tanners, glycolic retinoids, chemical exfoliants) for two weeks after your treatment. Wear SPF 50 sunscreen and avoid direct sunlight.

How long until I see results?
Optimal results take approximately 3 to 6 months to appear, depending on the natural regeneration of collagen.
How does this treatment feel?
You will feel a warm, tingling sensation. You may feel a sunburn like sensation after your appointment around the treated area.
