The Best Non-Invasive Treatments

November 04th, 2022

The skin is the largest organ of the body and it’s first line of defense against external threats like bacteria, chemicals, and harsh weather. The skin does this by releasing secretions that kill bacteria while the pigment defends skin cells from ultraviolet light.

The Best Non-Invasive Treatments

Overtime, it’s inevitable that with age your skin will stop functioning as efficiently as it did in your youth and start to show the signs of aging. But, with everything that the skin has done for your body, it deserves the best treatment and care. At Dr. Boulos Medical Spa, we have a wide selection of non-invasive treatments that will enhance your skin’s appearance and guarantee that you’ll feel rejuvenated and refreshed after each treatment.

Achieve youthful and refreshed skin with our microdermabrasion treatment. Microdermabrasion is a reliable and non-invasive treatment for those who want to achieve a youthful, and fresh glow. Using a diamond-tip tool we’ll gently exfoliate the top layer of the skin while simultaneously vacuuming the dead skin cells. The suction movement of the tool will stimulate the production of collagen, leading to optimal results for any skin type. At the end of this treatment, your skin will reveal itself to look rejuvenated and lively.

If you’re struggling with skin discolouration like hyperpigmentation or melasma, we suggest our Chemical Peel/Jessner Peel to counter the impact of these signs of aging.

Jessner Peel

Melasma, rosacea, hyperpigmentation, and other forms of skin discolouration can result in an older and less vibrant appearance. But, at Dr. Boulos Medical Spa we can help you refresh your skin’s appearance with our Jessner/Chemical Peel!

Our Jessner Peel is made from 14% Salicyic Acid, 14% Lactic Acid, and 14% Resorcinol. This formula is applied onto your skin by our qualified and trained practitioners. Once applied, the solution will dissolve into your skin and target dead and hyperpigmented skin cells. You may feel a slight tingling on your skin while the formula is doing its job. After approximately 3-5 minutes, the peel is removed.

Within a period of a week, you may experience minor swelling and peeling after the treatment. But, once your skin has fully peeled, it will reveal fresh and glowing skin. Our Jessner Peel is a useful non-invasive method of countering the appearance of dark spots, hyperpigmentation, and other forms of skin discolouration.

On the other hand, if you’re struggling with loose and saggy skin, we also offer Botox and Juvéderm treatments for those who are seeking tighter and younger-looking skin.

When most people think of aging, one of the first things that comes to mind are wrinkles and fine lines. It’s inevitable that we’ll all get wrinkles someday, but thanks to medical innovations and inventions, there are cosmetic procedures to slow down the appearance and occurrence of fine lines and wrinkles.

To counter wrinkles and fine lines, Juvéderm and Botox are both popular and non-invasive techniques used to enhance your appearance and give you a fresh and rejuvenated look. While both are used to treat wrinkles, they both work very differently. Keep reading to learn more about Juvéderm and Botox.

Botox is a non-invasive treatment made from botulism toxin A. When injected, Botox will relax and keep the targeted muscles and nerves still. As a result, from this injection, your skin will appear smoother and the fine lines/wrinkles will be less noticeable.

Whereas Juvéderm is a non-invasive injection made from hyaluronic acid and is used to fill in wrinkles from underneath the skin. Juvéderm differs from Botox in the way that it adds volume to hide wrinkles whereas Botox numbs the nerves and muscles to hide wrinkles.
