The Benefits of Mesotherapy for Anti-Aging

Benefits of Mesotherapy

Mesotherapy uses antioxidants, amino acids, vitamins, enzymes, hormones and plant extracts to rejuvenate and tighten your skin by removing excess fat. MesoGlow targets fat from under the neck, softens nose labia folds and removes fine lines around the eyes and lip. The ingredients in this treatment nourish and rejuvenate your face, eyelids and neck by stimulating the production of collagen and elastin, both essential for skin’s natural elasticity. Mesotherapy works by correcting underlying issues including poor circulation and inflammation that cause skin damage, ultimately improving dull and tired skin.

How does the Treatment Work?

The procedure uses very fine needles to deliver multiple injections into the middle layer (mesoderm) of the skin, not deep enough to draw blood, but enough to properly nourish the kin. Several droplets of vitamins will be placed into and on top of the skin in order to begin the rejuvenation process. Mesotherapy can be slightly uncomfortable, however, if applying an anesthetic cream or taking a pain reliever can help. Slight bruising or swelling may occur after the procedure, but it will often settle down as quickly as 24 hours

How Many Treatments Will I Need?

Several treatments may be required in order to achieve the desired result. It’s recommended that you revisit the doctor approximately 3 -15 more times after your first procedure. These treatments will be spaced two weeks apart for up to 6 months and the results can last anywhere from 6 months to 2 years, or even longer.

If you’re experiencing signs of aging, or are simply looking to rejuvenate your skin, Mesotherapy may be the perfect treatment for you! Contact Dr. Boulos to learn more and book a consultation.
